Live the experience of sharing the home of a local family.
We integrate local communities in our activities, therefore accommodation of visitors is offered in farmer families’ houses. Here visitors can experience and get to know life in rural Ecuador as well as having a space to carry out research in the case of students and scientists.
Visitors can also get involved in activities such as collecting, fermenting, drying and processing the cacao of the area turning it into a delicious artisanal chocolate. The cacao of this area is classified as one of the best in the world!
This kind of accommodation creates a network of services that benefits more members of the local communities (providers of meat, vegetables, cheese, mules, etc).
In the towns of Cristóbal Colón and Hoja Blanca we have local collaborators that offer accommodation in small hostels.
